About PNWDRA
Our Mission
Formed in Fall of 2025, The PNWDRA is a not for profit drag racing organization. Spearheaded by Rob Gillett of A Street Automotive, Carl Thorsett of Bracketstars and Arlyn Staiger of VP Racing Fuels and Access Performance Parts.
Our mission is to protect and continue NHRA ET Bracket Racing at our home track: Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. To form a team to Win the 2026 Summit ET FInals. To recruit new racers and grow the sport of drag racing. To produce a full junior drag racing program for kids. To provide a recreational place for our surrounding communities to come to the races. To provide a racing program for our High School students. To prevent illegal street racing and bring those contests to a safe racing facility.
We are renting the drag racing facility of Pacific Raceways for the 2026 Season. We will be responsible for all staff, all products such as traction compound, equipment, tech cards, insurance, Race Rescue, awards and payouts. The result is a fantastic 10 race double header series! To make this possible we need every racers support.
We will be operating as a NHRA Division 6 sanctioned organization. We will have a Team for the 2026 Summit Racing Series ET Finals.
2026 Drag Racing Schedule
March 14th Chassis Certification
The Pacific Northwest Drag Racing Association will have a NHRA Chassis Certification at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA Saturday March 14th 2026. 10:00am - 2:00pm.
RSVP is requested. Call Dennis Boley at 253-225-3990 to schedule your appointment.
The cost is $175. Cash or check.
Chassis certification is required on vehicles that run 9.999 or quicker or run 135 + mph. It must be renewed every 3 years. Your car can be complete, a roller or even just a frame with no tires and wheels.
